OrlandoCameraClub > Bill Monroe - After the Rain
This photo was taken inside a greenhouse, but I want all my nature pics to look as though they were shot in the wild. It occurred to me that if the vertical pipe, irrigation pipes and wooden post were not there, this picture would look like it was taken in a jungle on a hot, steamy day, just after a rain. The irrigation pipe and wooden post were easy to remove with cropping. I removed the vertical metal post with Microsoft Digital Image Suite 9 software, using the clone feature. According to a lady at the Butterfly Encounter, the strange-looking flowers are on a common Florida weed, but she did not know the plant name. I've been here almost my entire life, but don't recall ever seeing this plant in the wild.
