Boardwalk at Mead Gardens by: Bill Monroe
Judge 1: The idea of a boardwalk through the woods is only successful if one wants to continue to follow it. This photograph makes the viewer want to continue down the path. The odd board angles compared to the path itself, adds to the impact. Great picture. Judge 2: Good sense of flow of the boardwalk, it's about the intricate angled curves and the photographer did well to capture that. like the dark tunnel at end of the boardwalk, good placement of it. Would do better to emphasize it even more, maybe with some PS work in the contrasts of the area. The bright white board is distracting, try dodging it some. The color is a bit odd (overly blue shadows, overly red wood) maybe too much saturation slider? Judge 3: Good idea, but doesn’t move me. Try moving camera higher or lower.
