Downtown Reflection by: Alan Dart
Judge 1: A unique perspective of an everyday view. The photograph has something about it that draws the viewer back again and again. Perhaps different angles could be even catchier?!?! Judge 2: Good arrangement of lines with the slight curve. Love the cubist feeel of the reflections. The small piece of palm tree in l.r. is distracting: either include more of it for effective scale and color contrast, or crop it out. The entire shot is a bit uninteresting - its well done but it would help to bring something slightly different to this very common type of shot. Judge 3: Good geometric. Mix of opposing groups of reflections convey tension and diversity of adjacent buildings.
