OrlandoCameraClub > A Proud French Honor Legion by: Michael Tripp

Judge 1 :Nice lightng and attempt to capture the moment Wish the top of the flag were seen and there was more room on the right. Maybe you could have stepped back a little.Judge 2 :This is a nice 'record' shot, but is rather 'busy' and lacks a strong focal point.Judge 3: A nice travel shot. Would be stronger if photographed to relate the expression on the flag-bearers face to the flag, which is the captivating part of the image.
OrlandoCameraClub > Look of Contentment by: Kathy Urbach

Judge 1 : A winner in my mind.Judge 2 :Very nice pet portrait, but although the closed eyes are germane to the title, this nevertheless reduces the impact of the image.Judge 3: A good expression, which would be a much stronger image if the green between the ears was cropped out.
OrlandoCameraClub > Perspective by: Ken Blye

Judge 1 :A well conceived image, but the subject does not convey significant impact.Judge 2 :This is a very interesting image which is nicely done in B&W. The composition is excellent, although the leaves encroaching on the left unbalance it slightly.Judge 3: An interesting study in perspective that would be stronger if it was not so symmetrical. Perhaps cropping the right side to eliminate half of the bright boards and frame. Leveling the top edge would also help.
OrlandoCameraClub > After Life by: Michael Haddad

Judge 1 :Beach debris does not draw much interest. The horizon is tilted.Judge 2 :Interesting juxtaposition of the dead tree and old axle make for a thought-provoking image. The sky is rather featureless, and this and the background greenery add nothing to the image, which would be significantly improved by use of a different angle or a closer view.Judge 3: An interesting juxtaposition, the impact of which is lessened by a crooked horizon, and too loose a crop, leaving a large rock, white sky and debris in the top right to diminish the impact of this interesting finding.
OrlandoCameraClub > Alaskan Melt by: Raida Woll-Gomez

Judge 1 :A good documentary image.Judge 2 :This is a rather monochromatic image, which suffers from lack of foreground interest, scale and contrast.Judge 3: A nice travel shot, unfortunately much photographed. To be a strong image the cropping needs to be tighter and there needs to a unique perspective in better light.
OrlandoCameraClub > Rocket's Red Glare by: Reg Garner

Judge 1 :Technically excellent. A great potential subject, but there is too much foreground. I would have liked to see entire burst at top.Judge 2 :Excellent color and composition make this a successful firework image. It would benefit from a little more detail in the bottom left side.Judge 3: Dramatic shot whose impact is lessened by the lights of the building and the ambiguous figures n the center of the photo. Cropping some off the bottom would help to place you more in the photo.
OrlandoCameraClub > Busy Bee by: Susan Germyn

Judge 1 :A nice sharp bee, but the flower is too far to the right and colors are too muted. Brighter lighting or flash would have helped.Judge 2 :Nice color and composition, but there is a lack of critical sharpness in both flower and bee. The out of focus background serves to isolate the subject well, but the quality of the OOF areas (bokeh) is rather harsh, almost giving the impression that this was achieved by post-processing.Judge 3: A nicely composed image. The bright spot on the flower stem compete with the center of interest. Unfortunately, the digital noise throughout the image significantly degrade the photograph.
OrlandoCameraClub > Dutiful Daughter by: Christian Mildh

Judge 1 :Nice unique image. I find the towel in the foreground distracting and wish there was more space above her. I don't mind the motion blur in her hand.Judge 2 :A very intriguing image nicely converted to B&W. I would have liked to see it shot from a different angle so that the man's head was more isolated from the girl. Really nice idea though.Judge 3: This image works because it is monochrome. It is a beautiful image that works on both literal and a symbolic level. However, the bright towel behind the man and the bright book edges on the table whole be dodged.
OrlandoCameraClub > The Bean by: Rick Blount

Judge 1 :Interesting reflection but I can't connect this to the rest of the image.Judge 2 :The strong reflection, saturated color and symmetry of the 'Bean' add strength to this image. The two figures beneath add a nice sense of scale, and their reflections work well and add interest.. Unfortunately, the building at the left unbalances .the symmetry and weakens the overall impact of this otherwise very nice image.Judge 3: This is a fun image seen very creatively by the photographer. It would be even stronger if the buildings at the margins were not there to distract the eye.
