Lemonade by: Wallace Weeks

Judge 1 :Superb creativity and lighting but wish the entire glass rim could be captured. Maybe more lighting would have helped.Judge 2 :Beautiful still life image, which is technically very well executed. The lighting is excellent and the yellow lemon works brilliantly with the otherwise monochromatic jug and water. My only (mild) criticism is the amount of dead space at the top, which could be cropped without detriment to this excellent image.Judge 3: A strikingly graphic image. Being somewhat too centered and not photographed against a deep blue-violet background to complement the yellow lemons are all that keep this from being a great image.
OrlandoCameraClub > Honorable Mention
JUST RESTIN' by: Don Newton

Judge 1 :Love the vivid colors. Would have been perfect if the sky had been blue.Judge 2 :Strong color and good composition are the strengths of this fine image. The image is clearly heavily processed, but this does not detract from the strong impact of this photograph.Judge 3: Beautiful use of color in the bottom two-thirds of the image. The nearly white sky dilutes the impact of an otherwise sunning image.
OrlandoCameraClub > Honorable Mention
Mesa Arch at Sunrise, Canyonlands
by: Dick Dehler

Judge 1 :A superior scenic with a great starburst effect. The one distraction is the UL corner. I'd prefer a bit more foreground and not as much the top of the arch.Judge 2 :This is a gorgeous image. Great composition and lighting, with technically excellent executiuon of the shot.Judge 3: A good attempt at a difficult subject. The cloud below the arch and white top left corner are significant distractions.
OrlandoCameraClub > Half Dome Sunrise by: Bruce Frutchey
Judge 1 :The horizon is too high and unfortunately the sky is not dramatic. Judge 2 :Nice dawn shot, with good composition. Lacks a solid focal point which would give the image more impact.Judge 3: The right time of day, but the image needs some detail for Half Dome to be identifiable. It should also be cropped tighter especially on the right.
OrlandoCameraClub > Fountain Splash by: Mary Wood

Judge 1 :Good potential image here but you're a bit close, horizon is slightly tilted..highlighted water is a bit too bright.Judge 2 :This is a very busy image, so the eye is not sure what to look at. It would be better to choose an angle to minimize background distraction. Since the main subject is presumably the fountain, shooting upwards and using the blue sky as background would have made a more powerful image.Judge 3: Good capture of the water. But, the image needs to cropped in on the fountain. There are too many distracting and tilted background elements for this photograph to work.
OrlandoCameraClub > Virginia Creeper Versus The Gatepost by: Nane Everling

Judge 1 :No real center of interest here.Judge 2 :The image lacks a focal point and cries out for a third color. There is a lot of dead space on the right that does not conrtribute.Judge 3: Good choice of opposing primary colors. However, it is difficult to know what the photo to is trying to convey. The image needs to be either tighter or wider. And it needs to be straightened.
OrlandoCameraClub > A Step Above by: Jeff Painter

Judge 1 :Not sure of the title. but the hand is intriguing. Excellent lighting. Wish you had captured his face.Judge 2 :Very interesting image which is technically very well executed. I like the composition, but I think it would be further improved by cropping about one third of the black space top and right.Judge 3: Outstanding technical and creative photo. Unique perspective, but the image it hard to connect to as a stand-alone photograph.
OrlandoCameraClub > Lone Bagpiper by: Michelle Marsan

Judge 1 :Well thought out image.Well composed. Would like to have seen him turned 150 degrees toward you.Judge 2 :Great composition making for an impactful image. Would be improved by a more interesting sky, which appears a little washed out.Judge 3: Good composition of an interesting subject. Distorted sky color is distracting
OrlandoCameraClub > Elvis's Blue Hawaii by: Linda Schoonover

Judge 1 :Great colors. Horizoned too centered. The palm on the right and hanging frond at top really do not add to the image.Nice overall.Judge 2 :Powerful reflection and strongly saturated color makes for a nice image, albeit quite heavily processed.Judge 3: Very pleasing photo of palms and their reflections. However, the static composition and lighting diminishes the image's creative impact.
